Wakita and KS chase April 10th, 2005


Before any storms had fired (that we had seen in our area) on April 10th we decided to stop by Wakita, OK and found the Twister museum. I took a picture of the museum, Dorothy who was just inside the window and the famous water tower. Shortly after this we found a storm and chased it up into Central Kansas till it got too dark to continue. All the pictures below are from that storm with the sun going down. We missed the string of pearls tornadoes along I-70 earlier in the day. I dont even remember having data this day, so we were chasing purely visual after leaving Norman. Was still a fun day that ended near Hutchinson, KS.
